TPS79912DDCRG4 Description
Excellent ac performance is provided by the TPS79912DDCRG4 low-dropout (LDO), low-power linear regulator at a very low ground current. While only requiring a relatively small 40-A (average) ground current, high power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR), low noise, quick startup, and excellent line and load transient responsiveness are all supplied.
The TPS79912DDCRG4 uses a sophisticated BiCMOS fabrication technique to produce a dropout voltage of usually 100 mV at an output of 200 mA and is stable with ceramic capacitors. The TPS79912DDCRG4 achieves an overall accuracy of 2% over all load, line, process, and temperature fluctuations by using a precise voltage reference and feedback loop. When the EN toggle is used to turn on the device, the TPS79912DDCRG4 has inrush current protection, which immediately clamps the current.
This device is available as a low-profile, die-sized ball grid array and is completely specified for the temperature range TJ = -40°C to +125°C (DSBGA)
This gadget is a suitable option for WLAN cards and wireless handsets because of its small package. Additionally, 6-pin WSON and 5-pin SOT-23-THIN packages are available for this device.
