TPS79618KTTRG3 Description
The TPS79618KTTRG3 family of low-dropout (LDO) low-power linear voltage regulators comes in tiny outline, 3 3 VSON, SOT223-6, and TO-263 packages and offers high power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR), ultralow-noise, fast start-up, and outstanding line and load transient responses. A tiny, 1-μF ceramic capacitor on the output stabilizes each member of the family of devices. The family produces extremely low dropout voltages with the use of a sophisticated, exclusive BiCMOS production technique (for example, 250 mV at 1 A). Each device has quick start-up times (about 50 s with a 0.001-μF bypass capacitor) and typically uses only 265 μA of quiescent current. Additionally, the supply current is decreased to less than 1 μA when the device is switched to standby mode. With a 0.1-μF bypass capacitor, the TPS79618KTTRG3 exhibits around 40 μVRMS of output voltage noise at 3.0 V output. Applications that require quick response times and noise-sensitive analog components, like portable RF electronics, benefit from high PSRR and low noise qualities.
