TPS79333DBVR Description


The TPS79333DBVR is a low-power 200mA low-dropout linear regulator with a high PSRR, ultralow noise, quick start-up, and outstanding line and load transient responses. This gadget is perfect for handheld devices like cellphones and PDAs. With a modest 2.2F ceramic capacitor on the output, each device in the family is stable. To achieve exceptionally low dropout voltages, the TPS793 employs a sophisticated, proprietary BiCMOS production method. Each device has a fast start-up time (about 50s with a 0.001F bypass capacitor) and a low quiescent current (typically 170A). Furthermore, the supply current is lowered to less than 1A when the device is placed in standby mode. The high-PSRR and low-noise properties, as well as the short response time, help applications requiring noise-sensitive analog components, such as portable RF electronics.
