TPS61046YFFR Description
The TPS61046YFFR is a highly integrated boost converter developed for applications such as PMOLED panels and sensor modules that require high voltage and small solution sizes. A 30-V power switch, input/output isolation switch, and power diode are all included in the TPS61046YFFR. From the input of a Li+ battery or two-cell alkaline batteries in series, it may produce up to 28 V. The switching frequency of the TPS61046YFFR is 1.0 MHz. This makes it possible to use small external components. By connecting the FB pin to the VIN pin, the TPS61046YFFR has an inbuilt default 12-V output voltage setting. As a result, it only requires three external components to provide a 12-volt output voltage. When used in conjunction with the WCSP package, the TPS61046YFFR results in an extremely tiny overall solution size. The TPS61046 has a typical switch current limit of 900 mA. It has a 10-ms soft-start time built-in to reduce inrush current. The isolation switch disconnects the output from the input when the TPS61046YFFR is in shutdown mode, reducing leakage current. Output short circuit protection, output over-voltage protection, and thermal shutdown are all included in the TPS61046YFFR.
