TPS61020DRCR Description
One-cell Li-Ion or Li-polymer batteries, two-cell or three-cell alkaline batteries, one-cell NiCd or NiMH batteries, or one-cell alkaline batteries can all be used to power products using the TPS6102x devices. When utilizing a single-cell alkaline battery, output currents can reach 200 mA and the battery can be discharged to 0.9 V. A 3.3-V rail or a Li-Ion battery can be utilized to generate 5 V at 500 mA with the help of this device. In order to achieve optimum efficiency, the boost converter is based on a fixed frequency, pulse-width-modulation (PWM) controller using a synchronous rectifier. In order to maintain a high efficiency over a broad load current range, the converter enters the Power Save mode at low load currents.
