TPS57140QDGQRQ1 Description
A 42-V, 1.5-A step-down regulator with an integrated high-side MOSFET is the TPS57140-Q1 device. Simple external compensation and versatile component selection are provided via current-mode control. The regulated output supply current at no load is decreased to 116 A in low-ripple pulse-skip mode. The shutdown current is decreased to 1.5 A when the enable pin is in the low condition.
Internally, undervoltage lockout is set to 2.5 V, although it can be raised by using the enable pin. The slow-start pin, which can be set up for sequencing or tracking, controls the output voltage startup ramp. An open-drain power-good signal means the output voltage is between 92% and 109% of what it should be.
