TPS54561DPRR Description
The TPS54561 is a 60-V, 5-A step-down regulator with a high-side MOSFET incorporated. According to ISO 7637, the device can withstand load dump pulses of up to 65V. Current mode control allows for simple external compensation and component selection flexibility. The no-load supply current is reduced to 152 A using a low ripple pulse skip mode. When the enable pin is pushed low, the shutdown supply current is lowered to 2 A.
