TPS54427DDAR Description
An adaptive on-time D-CAP2TM mode synchronous buck converter is the TPS54427. The TPS54427 provides system designers with an affordable, low component count, and low standby current option to finish the suite of different end equipment's power bus regulators. The DCAP2TM mode control, which offers a quick transient response without requiring any additional compensating components, is used in the TPS54427's primary control loop.
Additionally, the TPS54427 features a proprietary circuit that enables it to support ceramic capacitors with ultra-low equivalent series resistance (ESR) as well as output capacitors with low equivalent series resistance (ESR), such POSCAP or SP-CAP. The VIN input range for this device is 4.5 to 18. Programmable range for the output voltage is 0.76 V to 7 V. Additionally, the device has an adjustable soft start time. The TPS54427 can function between -40°C and 85°C and is offered in both an 8-pin DDA package and a 10-pin DRC configuration.
