TPS2553DBVT Description
The TPS2553DBVT power-distribution switches deliver up to 1.5 A of continuous load current and are designed for situations that demand precision current limiting or heavy capacitive loads and short circuits. Through an external resistor, the TPS2553DBVT allows for a programmable current-limit threshold of 75 mA to 1.7 A (typical). At the higher current-limit levels, current-limit accuracy can be as low as 6%. To minimize current surges during turn on and turn off, the power-switch rise and fall times are managed.
