Description
The low quiescent current linear regulators in the TLV70033DDCR series have a good line and load transient performance. These LDOs are made for applications that require low power. The overall accuracy of 2% is provided by a precision bandgap and error amplifier. This class of devices is perfect for the majority of battery-operated handheld equipment because of its low output noise, extremely high power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR), and low dropout voltage. For safety, all device models have a thermal shutdown and a current limit.
Additionally, despite having only 0.1 μF of effective output capacitance, these devices are steady. The use of inexpensive capacitors with greater bias voltages and temperature derating is made possible by this feature. With no output load, the devices regulate to the desired precision.
The TLV70033DDCR series of LDOs are available in 1,5-mm x 1,5-mm SON-6, TSOT23-5, and SC-70 packages.
