In order to protect the op amps, a 8-TSSOP (0.173, 4.40mm Width) case is used. Buffer amps of this type are called General Purpose-types. As far as the packaging is concerned, buffer op amp is delivered in a Tube case. The number of terminations is approaching the 8 mark. The total number of pins on linear amplifier is 8. As a reminder, this buffer op amp should be powered by 3V battery and that the battery should be inserted in the amplifier. It should be noted that this type of buffer amplifier is exactly what is known as a Operational Amplifier device. The op amp ic has an array of 8 pins on it.
