SN6505BDBVR Description
The SN6505BDBVR is a low-noise, low-EMI push-pull transformer driver developed for isolated power supply with a small form factor. It uses a 2.25 V to 5 V DC power source to drive low-profile, center-tapped transformers. Slew rate control of the output switch voltage and Spread Spectrum Clocking is used to achieve ultra-low noise and EMI (SSC). The SN6505BDBVR is made up of an oscillator and a gate drive circuit that generates complementary output signals for driving ground-connected N-channel power switches. To assure start-up under strong loads, the SN6505BDBVR incorporates two 1-A Power-MOSFETswitches. For proper placement of switcher harmonics or when working with several transformer drivers, the switching clock can alternatively be given externally.
