MSP430F5308IRGCR Description
The TI MSP line of ultra-low-power microcontrollers consists of a number of components with varied peripherals geared toward different applications. In portable measurement applications, the architecture is tailored to achieve longer battery life through the use of five low-power modes. The system includes a potent 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that help the code run as efficiently as possible. The device can wake up from low-power modes to active mode in less than 5 microseconds thanks to the digitally controlled oscillator (DCO).
The microcontrollers MSP430F5310, MSP430F5309, and MSP430F5308 are equipped with a 3.3-V LDO, four 16-bit timers, a high-performance 10-bit ADC, two USCIs (1), a hardware multiplier, DMA, an RTC module with alarm capabilities, and 31 or 47 I/O pins.
