MSP430F2252IDA Description
The Texas Instruments MSP430TM family of ultra-low-power microcontrollers consists of a number of components with varied peripherals geared toward diverse applications. In portable measurement applications, the architecture and five low-power modes are optimized to extend battery life. The system includes a potent 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that help the code run as efficiently as possible. In less than one second, the digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) enables wake-up from low-power modes to active mode.
A 10-bit A/D converter with an integrated reference and data transfer controller (DTC), two general-purpose operational amplifiers in the MSP430F22x4 devices, two built-in 16-bit timers, a universal serial communication interface, and 32 I/O pins are all features of the MSP430F22x4/MSP430F22x2 series of ultra-low-power mixed signal microcontrollers.
