MSP430F122IPW Description
The MSP430 family of ultralow power microcontrollers from Texas Instruments consists of a number of components with varied peripherals geared toward diverse applications. In portable measurement applications, the architecture and five low power modes are optimized to extend battery life. A potent 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators are all included in the device, which contribute to its high level of code efficiency.
In less than 6 s, the digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) enables wake-up from low-power modes to active mode. An ultralow-power mixed signal microcontroller with twenty-two I/O pins and a built-in 16-bit timer is the MSP430F12x series. In addition to an adaptable analog comparator, the MSP430F12x series also includes built-in synchronous (SPI) and asynchronous (UART) communication capabilities.
