LP3999ITLX-2.4 Description


The LT3999 from Analog Devices is a high voltage, high frequency, monolithic, push-pull, low noise DC/DC transformer driver that offers isolated power. Two 1 A current-limited power switches on the LT3999 alternately turn on and off. To change the output voltage, the duty cycle can be programmed. To more precisely arrange switcher harmonics, the switching frequency can be configured up to 1 MHz and synchronized to an external clock. Precision undervoltage and overvoltage lockouts are programmed into the operating range of the input. During shutdown, the supply current is decreased to less than 1 A. By reducing the inrush current at startup, a user-defined RC time constant provides an adjustable soft-start capability.
