LP2998MRX/NOPB Description
LP2998MRX/NOPB is a type of linear regulator specifically designed to meet JEDEC SSTL-2 and JEDEC SSTL-18 specifications for the termination of DDR-SDRAM and DDR2 memory. Excellent response to load transients is provided based on a high-speed operational amplifier. Shoot-through is prevented and 1.5 A continuous current and transient peaks up to 3 A is delivered through the output stage for application as required for DDR-SDRAM termination. A VSENSE pin is incorporated to provide superior load regulation and a VREF output as a reference for the chipset and DIMMs.
