The LP2982IM5-2.5 is a 50 mA, fixed-output voltage regulator designed to provide ultra-low dropout and lower noise in battery-powered applications.



LP2982IM5-2.5 Features


  • Ultra-low dropout voltage

  • Guaranteed 50 mA output current

  • Typical dropout voltage 180 mV @ 80 mA

  • Smallest possible size (SOT-23, micro SMD package)

  • Requires minimum external components

  • < 1 μA quiescent current when shutdown

  • Low ground pin current at all loads

  • Output voltage accuracy 1.0% (A Grade)

  • High peak current capability (150 mA typical)

  • Wide supply voltage range (16V max)

  • Low Z OUT 0.3? typical (10 Hz to 1 MHz)

  • Overtemperature/overcurrent protection
