LP2966IMM-1828 Description
The input supply range for the LP2966 dual extreme low-dropout (LDO) regulator is +2.70V to +7.0V. 150mA are delivered by each output over the complete temperature range. Due to the IC's incredibly low drop-out voltage and quiescent current, battery-powered and portable applications are a great fit for it. Each LDO in the LP2966 has the capacity to shut down on its own. The LP2966 has a very tiny VSSOP-8 packaging and has low ground pin current performance (refer to package dimensions and for more information on VSSOP-8 package). For each output, a variety of preset voltage settings are offered. Additionally, a great deal more are available with minimum orders upon request. There are 256 possible voltage combinations in all.
