The LM7912CT, 3-Terminal Negative Regulator from the LM79XX family has set output voltages of -5V, -12V, and -15V. Only one external component is required for these devices: a compensating capacitor at the output. The LM79XX series is housed in a TO-220 power package and can deliver 1.5A of output current.
