LM336BZ-2.5/NOPB Description
Precision 2.5V shunt regulator diodes are integrated circuits LM136-2.5/LM236-2.5 and LM336-2.5. This integrated circuit (IC) voltage references function as a 2.5V zener with a low-temperature coefficient and a 0.2Ω dynamic impedance. The LM136-2.5 has a third terminal that makes it simple to tune the reference voltage and temperature coefficient.
Digital voltmeters, power supply, or op amp circuitry can all benefit from the precise 2.5V low voltage reference provided by the LM136-2.5 series. It is simple to get a stable reference from a 5V logic supply thanks to the 2.5V. The LM136-2.5 can also be used as a positive or negative voltage reference because it functions as a shunt regulator.
Whereas the LM236-2.5 is rated for operation over a temperature range of 25°C to +85°C, the LM136-2.5 is rated for operation over a range of 55°C to +125°C. The operating temperature range for the LM336-2.5 is from 0 to +70 degrees Celsius.
