LM317HVK Product Details

LM317HVK Description

The LM317HVK STEEL/NOPB is a three-terminal high-voltage Adjustable Voltage Regulator with overcurrent protection. Over a 1.25 to 57V output voltage range, the voltage regulator can produce 1.5A or greater currents. To set the output voltage, only two external resistors are required. Overload protection, such as current limit, thermal overload protection, and safe area protection, ensures that the equipment does not blow up. Even if the adjustment terminal is unplugged, the overload protection circuitry remains completely functioning. Unless the device is more than 6 inches from the input filter capacitors, in which case an input bypass is required, no capacitors are usually required. To improve transient response, an output capacitor can be added as an alternative.
