ISO3086DWR Description
ISO3086DWR developed by Texas Instruments belongs to the family of isolated transceivers. A much larger common-mode voltage range is allowed by breaking the ground loop, making the device well-suited for long transmission lines. Any cabled I/O can be subjected to electrical noise transients from various sources. The transceiver and/or nearby sensitive circuitry can be damaged by these noise transients that are of sufficient magnitude and duration. The ISO3086DWR isolated transceiver is specifically used to increase protection and reduce the risk of damage to expensive control circuits.
