AMC1301DWVR Description
The AMC1301DWVR is a precision, isolated amplifier with an isolation barrier that is highly resistant to magnetic interference between the output and the input circuitry. According to VDE V 0884-10 and UL1577, this barrier is certified to provide reinforced galvanic isolation of up to 7 kVPEAK. This device prevents noise currents on a high common-mode voltage line from entering the local ground and interfering with or destroying sensitive equipment when used in conjunction with an isolated power supply. The AMC1301DWVR's input is designed to connect directly to shunt resistors or other low-voltage signal sources. The device's high performance enables accurate current management, resulting in system-level power savings and lower torque ripple, particularly in motor control applications. The AMC1301DWVR's inherent common-mode overvoltage and missing high-side supply voltage detection functions make system design and debugging easier. The AMC1301DWVR is available in a wide-body 8-pin SOIC (DWV) package and is fully specified for the extended industrial temperature range of –40°C to +125°C.
