RUEF135 Overview
For protection, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. Packaged in the Bulk, these PTC thermistors are safe to handle. Using PTC thermistors at -40°C temperature should be their minimum operating temperature. There must not be an increase in temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to work. PTC thermometers have 2 terminations. A PTC thermistor could supply 30V voltage when it is in operation. PTC thermistors have been designed to operate at 1.35A volts. These thermistors are rated for DC circuit voltage of 30V. The PTC thermistors should emit 800mW heat. In order to avoid overheating, PTC thermistors should be kept at a 100A current.
