Typically, NTC thermistors are packaged in a Tape & Reel (TR) package. In order to make things easier, it is included in the package Radial. A NTC thermistor must have a resistance tolerance of ±20% in order to operate. For reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to -55°C~170°C. In order for NTC thermistors to work properly, they must have their 2 pins connected. There is no danger of the fuse element deteriorating beyond a certain current limit for NTC thermistors.
