A Radial package is used to protect PTC thermistors. A minimum operating temperature of -40°C should be set for the PTC thermistors. It is important that this thermistor does not operate at a temperature above 85°C. This thermistor has 2 pins. When the PTC thermistors operate, they supply 80V. PTC thermistors have been designed to operate at 170mA current. There should be no current over 5.5A for PTC thermistors.
