It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in SMD/SMT packages. In order to protect themselves from damage, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). It is advisable to set the PTC thermistors to -20°C as the minimum operating temperature. A temperature of 125°C should not be exceeded during operation of this thermistor.
