TIP145 Overview
DC current gain in this device equals 1000 @ 5A 4V, which is the ratio of the base current to the collector current. As it features a collector emitter saturation voltage of 2V, it allows for maximum design flexibility.A VCE saturation (Max) of 3V @ 40mA, 10A means Ic has reached its maximum value(saturated).Keeping the emitter base voltage at 5V can result in a high level of efficiency. This device has a current rating of -10A which corresponds to the maximum current it can carry for an indefinite period without deteriorating too much.During maximum operation, collector current can be as low as 10A volts.
