Description
For LCD TVs and monitors, the TDA7492P is a twin BTL class-D audio amplifier with a single power supply. No heatsink is necessary because of the high efficiency and exposed-pad down (EPD) package. A power amplifier that can drive loudspeakers or headphones is known as an audio power amplifier (or power amp). It works by boosting low-power electronic audio signals, such as those from a radio receiver or an electric guitar pickup, to a level that is loud enough to drive those devices.
