TDA2030A Description
:
The TDA2030A from STMicroelectronics is an audio power amplifier circuit. It comes in a plastic V-shaped 5-pin single-in-line container. Depending on its shape, the pin might be classed as H type or V type. The TDA2030A features a large output current and low harmonic and cross-over distortion. It is especially well suited for more reliable applications without regulated supply and for 35W driver circuits using low-cost complementary pairs due to its small size, considerable output power, and low distortion. Vehicle stereo recorders and medium power audio devices frequently use the integrated circuit. It also has an integrated protective circuit. Similar products are made by SGS of Italy, RCA of America, Hitachi of Japan, NEC of Japan, and others. While their internal circuitry differ somewhat, the pin placements and functions are identical and may be swapped.
