The high-performance Arm? Cortex?-M4 32-bit RISC processor used in the STM32F405RGT6V series operates at a frequency of up to 168 MHz. All Arm single-precision data-processing instructions and data formats are supported by the floating point unit (FPU) single precision that is a feature of the Cortex-M4 core. Additionally, it incorporates a memory protection unit (MPU) that improves program security together with the whole range of DSP instructions.
