The high-performance ARM Cortex?-M3 32-bit RISC core, operating at a 72 MHz frequency, high-speed embedded memories (Flash memory up to 128 Kbytes and SRAM up to 20 Kbytes), and a wide range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals connected to two APB buses are all included in the STM32F103x8 and STM32F103xB performance line family. All of the devices have up to two I2Cs and SPIs, three USARTs, a USB port, and a CAN, as well as conventional and sophisticated communication interfaces: two 12-bit ADCs, three general-purpose 16-bit timers, and one PWM timer.
The operating voltage range for the STM32F103R8H6 medium-density performance line family is 2.0 to 3.6 V. Both the standard temperature range of -40 to +85 °C and the extended temperature range of -40 to +105 °C are offered. The development of low-power applications is made possible by a wide range of power-saving modes.
The medium-density performance line family STM32F103R8H6 consists of six different package variants, ranging in size from 36 pins to 100 pins. Different sets of peripherals are included depending on the device selected; the description below provides an overview of the full range of peripherals suggested in this family.
