ST62T03CB6 Description


The ST62xx 8-bit HCMOS family of microcontrollers, which is aimed at low to medium complexity applications, includes the ST6200C, 01C, and 03C devices as affordable members. A common core is surrounded by a number of on-chip peripherals, which forms the basis for all ST62xx devices.

In order to develop ST62T00C, T01, and T03C target devices as well as their corresponding ST6200C, 01C, and 03C ROM devices, the ST62E01C is the erasable EPROM version of the ST62T00C, T01, and T03C devices.

Devices using OTP and EPROM have the same functionality. OTP devices are the best option in a variety of applications when frequent code updates, various code versions, or last-minute programmability are required since they provide all the benefits of user programmability at a cheap cost.

The OTP/EPROM versions' programmable option bytes determine the options available in the ROM option list, while the ROM-based versions provide the same capability.

The Factory Advanced Service Technique ROM (FASTROM) variants of the ST62T00C, T01 and T03C OTP devices are designated ST62P00C, P01C, and P03C.

They provide the same capabilities as OTP devices but do not require customer programming.

These small, inexpensive devices have an 8-bit counter, a 7-bit programmable prescaler, an 8-bit A/D converter, four analog inputs, and a digital watchdog timer, making them suitable for a variety of industrial, appliance, and automotive applications.
