LD1117DT18 Description


LD1117DT18 is a type of low-drop voltage regulator developed by STMicroelectronics. It is able to provide up to 800 mA of output current, available even in an adjustable version. The quiescent current flows mostly into the load based on an NPN pass transistor to ensure high efficiency. It supports high stability with only a very common 10 μF minimum capacitor. The regulator is allowed to reach a very tight output voltage tolerance within ± 1 % at 25 °C due to on-chip trimming.
