L3GD20HTR Description
A low-power three-axis angular rate sensor is the L3GD20HTR.
It has a sensor component and an IC interface that can communicate the observed angular rate to the outside world via an I2C/SPI digital interface.
The manufacturing of the sensing element involves a specialized micromachining procedure created by ST to create inertial sensors and actuators on silicon wafers.
A dedicated circuit is designed and then trimmed to better fit the characteristics of the sensing device when the IC interface is produced using a CMOS process, which enables a high level of integration.
The L3GD20HTR can measure rates with a user-selectable bandwidth and has a full scale of ±245/±500/±2000 dps.
The L3GD20HTR can function in a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C and is offered in a plastic land grid array (LGA) container.
