The 2V to 14V operating range of the L6932 Ultra Low Drop Output linear regulator can accommodate 2A. Designed with an integrated 50m N-channel Mosfet, it can be used in portable applications to reduce power consumption during the DC-DC conversion between 2.5V and 1.5V at 2A. The L6932 ensures a voltage regulation precision of 1% and is offered in 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and adj versions starting at 1.2V. To manage the current in a short circuit state within 8%, the current limit is specified at 2.5A. In order to reduce power dissipation, the current is measured in the power mos.
