As a clock IC, PLLs is packaged using the Tray method. 24 terminations can be found in frequency synthesizer. A frequency generator that runs over 85°C may cause ha85°Cards. A clock PLL that starts up at a lower temperature may not function. As such, it is often referred to as a kind of Clock Generators clock PLL.
