BD90640HFP-CTR Overview
A Cut Tape (CT) package is used in this voltage regulator to optimize performance. A voltage regulator consists of 7 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the TO-263-8, D2Pak (7 Leads + Tab), TO-263CA package. DC DC switching regulator is configured with 1 outputs. There are output pins on this DC DC switching regulator that generate Adjustable output. The voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting hole. The operating temperature should be kept at -40°C~125°C TA when the voltage regulator 12v is in operation. 50kHz~500kHz is the switching frequency of this DC-DC switching regulator. Input voltage 5V is the dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage required for operation of the voltage regulators. As shown in the table below, adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 0.8V. The output current of 4A makes dc to dc voltage regulator feature maximum design flexibility. The voltage regulator 12v is designed to provide a nominal input voltage of 13.2V for operation. There is a possibility that DC DC switching regulator can give voltage at 36V volts. Known as a switching DC-DC regulator, this voltage regulator belongs to the Automotive, AEC-Q100 family.
