The reason it is provided is that the board space can be saved by placing digital switch in the 16-SOIC (0.209, 5.30mm Width).As a result, it is packaged in a way that is referred to as Tape & Reel (TR).Digital switch ic adheres to a mounting method of Surface Mount.the multiplexers uses an analog IC Decoder/Demultiplexer.The operating temperature of -55°C~125°C will not be susceptible to external factors.Designers have greater flexibility when digital controlled switch operates at a 2V~6V supply voltage.As a member of 74HC series, the multiplexers can be used for a wide range of applications.
