In order to protect the op amps, a 16-CDIP (0.300, 7.62mm) case is used. Op amps are Variable Gain types of amplifier on the chip. As far as the packaging is concerned, buffer op amp is delivered in a Tube case. There is a growing number of terminations approaching the number of 16. A total of 16 pins are located on this board.
