The linear amplifier is packaged in a 14-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) case. A General Purpose-type buffer amplifier is shown here. Upon delivery, op amp ic is packaged in a Tube case. A total of 14 pins are attached to buffer op amp. It should be noted that this type of buffer amplifier is exactly what is known as a Operational Amplifier device.
