A clock integrated circuit is packaged in a Tray-shaped package because it is for use as a clock. There is a clock generator embedded in the 16-TFLGA Exposed Pad package. This clock generator receives its inputs from HCSL, LVCMOS, LVDS, Crystal, which is designed to be the clock source.
