It is included with the package Cylinder, Threaded - M8 to simplify your life. The proximity sensors can work well with the operating temperature of -25°C~70°C. A proximity sensor's supply voltage should be set to 24V for maximum efficiency. For the proximity sensors to work properly, the rate needs to be 1.1kHz. Reed switches are designed to use reed switches with internal contacts that pass 500μA current.
