AN34040A Overview
optimized performance is achieved by utilizing the Tube package in this voltage regulator. Throughout this voltage regulator, there are 7 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: ANALOG CIRCUIT ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. The space-saving TO-220-7 package is available for this voltage regulator. The voltage regulator 12v has 3 outputs. The adjusting voltage regulator generates Fixed output. As the name implies, this voltage regulator 12v is designed for mounting on a Through Hole bracket. During switching regulator operation, the operating temperature should remain at -30°C~85°C TA. The regulator is capable of operating with a dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage of 5.5V. As shown in the table below, adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 3.3V 5V 9V. There is a maximum input voltage of 14V for this voltage regulator 12v. In the particular voltage regulators, the AN34040A family is represented. For this switching regulator, we recommend keeping the output voltage at at least 9V volts.
