SFH 2716 Overview
In order to prevent damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in 0805 (2012 Metric) packages for safety purposes. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse- bias mode continuously, their maximum voltage is 16V.
