Description
A P-Channel Switch is the P1087 and is targeted for low noise switching and chopper applications. This device is intended for chopper-stabilized amplifiers and low-level analog switching samples and holds circuits. Because the drain current in a P-channel device flows in the negative direction, a negative gate-source voltage is used to turn the transistor "ON." Because the P-channel MOSFET is "upside-down" with its source terminal connected to the positive supply +VDD, this is possible.
