MPS6725 Overview
DC current gain' is equal to the ratio of the collector current to the base current, something like Ic/Ib, and this device has 4000 @ 1A 5V DC current gain.In VCE saturation, Ic is at its maximum value (saturated), and the vce saturation (Max) is 1.5V @ 2mA, 1A.Single BJT transistor is recommended to keep the continuous collector voltage at 1A in order to achieve high efficiency.A high level of efficiency can be achieved if the base voltage of the emitter remains at 12V.Current rating refers to the maximum current a fuse can carry for an indefinite period without deteriorating substantially, and this device has a 1A current rating.The part has a transition frequency of 100MHz.Maximum collector currents can be below 1A volts.
