MC74VHC1G08DTT1G developed by ON Semiconductor is a type of single 2 input AND gate featuring CMOS−level input thresholds. When voltages up to 5.5 V are applied, the input structures provide protection regardless of the supply voltage, allowing the device to be used to interface 5 V circuits to 3 V circuits. When VCC = 0 V and when the output voltage exceeds VCC, some output structures can also provide protection. All these features prevent device destruction caused by supply voltage, including input/output voltage mismatch, battery backup, hot insertion, etc.
