MC34268DG Description
A positive linear voltage regulator with a medium current and low dropout (LDO) that was created especially for use in SCSI-2 active termination circuits is the MC34268DG. This component offers the circuit designer a low-cost method for precise voltage regulation while minimizing power losses. A 1.0 V dropout composite PNP/NPN pass transistor, current limiting, and thermal limiting make up the linear voltage regulator. The surface mount power SOIC-8 and DPAK-3 packages are used to house this LDO. Applications include switching power supply post regulation and active SCSI-2 terminators.
